Cake is the answer (no matter what the question is). We live by these words and made sweetening up your lives our daily goal. We infuse our cakes with both, creativity and looks, so you can get your ultimate eye (and taste buds) candy.
If you’re after a very specific cake, a particular looking cupcake, a sugar cookie with an inside joke or a set of our signature macarons - we are your people. If you feel like a treat but not sure what is it that you want - we've got you too. Pick one of our sweet boxes and you won't be disappointed. Today is a perfect cake eating day.

It's a very sweet spot
We're pretty easy to find in the heart of Coffs Harbour - just follow your nose! Honestly, the delicious sweet cake smell spills out of our little shop into the laneway which makes it impossible to resist. Look for a candy-like sugar coated store front as you walk through Park Avenue lane.
We are known to introduce some pretty epic (and limited) seasonal flavours. If you're after trying something new, have a sweet tooth or looking for a sweet little something, come by and say hello. We have some fantastic neighbours aka local coffee roasters next door that pairs well with our treats.
MEET THE MAKER
Meet Mon, a creative baker at heart.
Monique, or Mon, is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. No wonder that her business is an extension of her personality - sweet, warm and incredibly creative. Mon certainly knows the secret ingredient to life being a cake boss, a wife and a mum of four.
Sugar Plum started in 2018 by the lovely Amanda as a small business with a market stall. It quickly gained local popularity and moved to it's own shop front in the Cinema Arcade. Eventually, Amanda passed her cake mantle to Mon, who has been with her from the humble beginnings. Mon moved Sugar Plum to it's current location in Park Avenue Lane and is continuing to grow it with lots of love and creativity.
Sugar Plum cakery has a small and nimble team who makes all of the products freshly in house. No wonder it's a one stop destination for all things sweet.
